A plagiarism detection  “Turnitin” will be performed in the beginning of the process by the Assistant Editors of Brazilian Dental Science team. A match percentage of less than 25% is recommended.

A plagiarism detection using Turnitin will be performed at the beginning of the process by the Assistant Editors of the Brazilian Dental Science team. A match percentage of less than 25% is recommended. Submissions exceeding this threshold will be evaluated by the Section Editor: cases with similarity between 25% and 50% may require a reduction in similarity before being sent for peer review, while articles with similarity above 50% may be subject to immediate rejection.
