A influência da camada de smear na adaptação de retentores protéticos

A infiltração marginal tem sido relatada como causa principal de insucessos de retentores protéticos, devido a formação de cáries secundárias. A proposta deste estudo foi avaliar in vitro a influência do tratamento da camada de smear e do uso de hibridização, em preparos para coroa total na adaptação dos coppings metálicos fundidos. Foram utilizados 15 pré molares humanos provenientes do banco de dentes do curso de Odontologia da Universidade Ibirapuera - UNIB, que foram preparados para coroa total com término em chanfro. Foram divididos em três grupos, sendo um controle e os demais foram submetidos ao tratamento com flúor acidulado 1,23% e um adesivo. Os espécimes foram moldados e fundidos coppings metálicos, para serem analisados comparativamente em um perfilógrafo. Os resultados demonstra¬ram que as fundições provenientes do tratamento com flúor acidulado a 1,23% e o adesivo, não apresentaram diferença estatística significante.Downloads
